Workshop Video Tips: Splicing Balsa

Working with vast models, it is mostly required to splice a balsa sheets together for equipment like wings and prolonged fuselages. To furnish clever slices in a balsa sheeting we have to make them during an angle to boost a glue aspect so a sheet’s altogether strength is not compromised. This seminar video tip shows how to do it correctly.

All adhesives from Zap Glue. The wing is from Gerry’s 1/3-scale Fokker Triplane built from a Balsa USA kit.
