Monster Concorde Takes Flight

First flown in 1969, a Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde was a British–French turbojet-powered supersonic newcomer airliner that was operated until 2003. It had a limit speed over twice a speed of sound, during Mach 2.04 (1,354 mph during journey altitude), with seating for 92 to 128 passengers. Concorde entered use in 1976 and continued drifting for 27 years.
